Our Team

Parita is the Pharmacy Manager at Calgary West Pharmacy. She has been a licensed pharmacist in Alberta since 2018. After moving to Canada with her family in 2015, she became a registered pharmacist in Alberta. From 2016 to 2018, Parita worked as a pharmacy assistant and pharmacist intern at Shoppers Drug Mart in Calgary. She then served as a community pharmacist in the Pincher Creek area from 2018 to 2022. In 2022, she returned to Calgary, where she continues to serve the community as a pharmacist. Parita is a Certified Diabetes Educator and obtained her injection certification in 2018. She values compassion, hard work, and helping her patients achieve their health goals. Her goal is to build a healthcare practice that fosters meaningful connections with patients, provides personalized care, and promotes healthy lifestyles. She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Gujarat University and completed a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology in 2013. In 2014, she was one of 13 recipients of the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award for her development of a mucoadhesive in-situ hydrogel. Outside of pharmacy, Parita enjoys volunteering in the community and nurturing plants.

Jay has been a licensed pharmacist in Alberta since 2018. He is the Managing Director and Pharmacist at CareProRx. Jay graduated from Gujarat University in India and immigrated to Canada in 2012. Before founding CareProRx, he worked as a pharmacy technician and pharmacist in Edmonton from 2014 to 2021. Driven by an entrepreneurial vision, Jay moved to Calgary in 2021. Teaming up with his friend Tushar, he co-founded a small independent pharmacy in the Millrise area, marking the start of an impressive journey. His unwavering dedication and strategic insight have since led to the successful ownership and management of a thriving network of over five pharmacies across the Calgary area. Jay is an experienced pharmacist with more than 10 years of hands-on practice in community, long-term care, and compounding pharmacies throughout Alberta. Beyond his professional life, Jay enjoys cooking and travelling to new destinations. When he’s not at the pharmacy, he’s often exploring and embracing his adventurous spirit.

Tushar has been a licensed pharmacist in Alberta since 2018. He is the Managing Director and Pharmacist at CareProRx Pharmacy. Tushar graduated from Gujarat University in India in 2011 and later moved to Canada to pursue new opportunities. From 2013 to 2018, he worked as a pharmacy assistant and pharmacy technician at CareRx Pharmacy. After obtaining his pharmacist licence in 2018, Tushar began his career as a licensed pharmacist, working in a long-term care pharmacy for four years. Driven by an entrepreneurial vision, he decided to establish his own independent pharmacy in southwest Calgary with his friend Jay. Through their hard work and dedication, they have since achieved the remarkable milestone of owning and managing five pharmacies across the city. With over 10 years of experience in the pharmacy profession, Tushar is dedicated to helping his patients by identifying the most effective medication combinations to promote relief, healing, and better quality of life. Outside of work, Tushar enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and parents, as well as travelling and reading.
